WHAT EXACTLY DOES C4 MEAN?  C4 stands for Custom Creative Craftaholic Club. but that is waaay to long to remember so it’s shortened to C4. CUSTOM means you build it yourself with personalization provided from me. CREATIVE stands for freedom to do what you want. CRAFTAHOLIC means we meet often. CLUB means you have a special group of people who get you.

HOW MUCH DOES A CLASS COST AND WHAT DOES IT INCLUDE?  class cost start at $25 and end at $40, depending on the number of crafts, their intensity to make, and the supplies needed. a meal is also provided either by me or a collection of pot luck items from everyone to keep this cost down. specialized desserts are also provided in the meal, as well as drinks. alcohol is welcome to a reasonable degree at my house but not the parks, if you want to BYOB, but keep in mind, creations are not at their best when made under the influence :>P the cost of the class is not negotiable, meaning, you can’t ask to do one or two crafts and pay for it separately, due to entire class prep and supplies needed in advance.

HOW DO I PAY?  payments are made at the door by cash or check but if you prefer, Paypal is available with arrangements made with me ahead of time. keep in mind if you use Paypal there is a small fee they charge to do a transfer from your account to mine. if you cancel at the last minute, supplies were already bought, made, and readied for you so there is a loss on my part, which isn’t fun, but i do understand life happens so the sooner you know you changed your mind and are not coming, the better i can provide a space for someone who wants to come.

CAN I BRING A FRIEND? of course but know space and supplies are limited, so there may be a limit to how many friends you invite. C4 is about connecting (which i suppose we can change the name to C5?…umm, no) so complete strangers are NOT invited for the sole purpose of connecting and getting to know each other. public workshops are a place for strangers to get together and craft. C4 is not.

CAN I BRING MY CHILD/REN?  keeping kids home may not always be an option for some moms to leave home and “get away”. what to do then? bring them with the understanding that we thank you for supervising them and not causing any disruption to the other crafty adults. kid crafts may be provided for some events and at times there is also a playground where they can have their own kinda fun. there is a small cost for the kids that runs anywhere from $5-10 depending on the event’s crafts, if available.

WHERE ARE THE PARTIES?  locations for the events vary.  right now, my home and community parks. it can get boring meeting at the same place and having the same food with the same arrangement. new places and different atmospheres tend to feed our creativity and spark new energy and excitement.

DO YOU EVER HAVE ANY DISCOUNTS OR PERKS?  once in  awhile, if you refer a friend or two, there may be $5 discount off your cost of that class for each referral. if you host a party, meaning i come to your house and set everything up and take down, with all the crafts and food,  your cost is totally free. if you come to 5 classes in a row, you get a C4 supply bag complete with your OWN craft supplies exclusively for your own use (ie: own set of paint, glue, scissors, brushes, etc just for you alone).

HOW OFTEN ARE THE CLASSES? at least 4 a year: Christmas, Easter/Spring, Summer, and Fall/Halloween & Thanksgiving with perhaps a small event in between. sign up for the first notice by following the C4 blog. classes are usually scheduled a month in advance due to the personalized crafts that need to be prepared ahead of time.

CAN I SUGGEST CRAFT IDEAS?  YES! that is more than welcome. just comment on this site under the creations tab or email me. classes for Silhouette/Cricut machines are not available as a computer lab or a place with super free wi-fi is available along with a movie screen, projector, power points, and more needed. yikes! we’ll just stick to gluing and painting (for now). same goes for sewing classes. but we DO cook/bake sometimes if an oven is available.
